Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a Get Married After 10-Year Relationship

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Popular South Korean actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a have officially married, ending a decade-long relationship that has been admired by fans and the entertainment industry. The couple held a private wedding ceremony on Saturday afternoon at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, with only close family members, relatives, and a few trusted friends in attendance. Actor Lee Kwang-soo, a longtime friend of Kim Woo-bin, hosted the ceremony.

Their agency, AM Entertainment, had announced the marriage last month, saying the couple decided to spend their lives together based on strong trust built over many years. The agency also asked fans and the public to send love and blessings to the newlyweds as they begin a new chapter together.

On the same day the marriage news was confirmed, Kim Woo-bin shared handwritten letters with his fans through his fan café. In the message, he said he was starting a family with the person who has been by his side for a long time and requested continued support so their future journey would be filled with warmth and encouragement.

Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a first met in 2015 while working as models for a fashion brand. They soon developed a romantic relationship and publicly confirmed it in July that year. Since then, they have remained together for 10 years. Shin Min-a earned widespread respect for standing firmly by Kim Woo-bin during his treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer, showing their strong and supportive bond.

Kim Woo-bin began his career as a model in 2008 and later became a successful actor, starring in dramas and films such as “The Heirs,” “Uncontrollably Fond,” “Our Blues,” and “Alienoid.” Shin Min-a debuted in 1998 and gained popularity through hit dramas including “My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho,” “Oh My Venus,” “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” and “Our Blues.”
