The production team behind Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, featuring renowned actor and comedian Kapil Sharma, has confirmed the film's re-release in cinemas scheduled for January 2026. This decision follows a successful audience response despite initial challenges during its debut theatrical run.
Directed by Anukalp Goswami, this comedy film showcases talents like Ayesha Khan, Tridha Choudhury, Warina Hussain, and Parul Gulati in significant roles. It first premiered on December 12 but encountered difficulties in securing enough screens due to fierce competition from other blockbuster films.
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 revolves around Mohan, portrayed by Kapil Sharma, who aspires to marry his girlfriend Sania. However, family expectations and cultural constraints lead him into a chaotic situation where he marries three women — Meera, Ruhi, and Jenny — from different religious backgrounds. With humor, the film navigates social conventions and the complexities of multiple marriages.
Despite its limited exposure in theaters, viewer feedback was predominantly positive, highlighting Kapil Sharma’s comedic delivery and the film’s engaging plot. Recognizing this favorable reception, producer Ratan Jain has opted to give a second chance for the film to connect with more viewers during its re-release.
This sequel follows the 2015 success of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which marked Kapil Sharma’s entry into Bollywood. The original film, directed by Abbas–Mustan, featured actresses Sai Lokur, Manjari Fadnis, Elli Avram, and Simran Kaur Mundi alongside Sharma and achieved notable success as a comedy.
With the upcoming re-release, the filmmakers are optimistic about Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 attracting a larger audience and garnering the appreciation it missed initially.
