Morocco head coach Tarik Sektioui said he was very proud of his players after they won their second FIFA Arab Cup title with a 3-2 victory over Jordan in the final at Lusail Stadium. Speaking after the match, he said the team kept their promise to give their best effort and fight until the end. He praised the players for their discipline, unity, and professional attitude throughout the match.
Sektioui highlighted how well the team reacted after Jordan took the lead in the second half. Instead of losing confidence, the Moroccan players stayed calm, worked together, and showed strong character to come back and win the game. He said this response showed the mental strength and belief within the squad, which played a big role in their success.
The coach also spoke about the huge crowd at the stadium, saying the fans gave the team extra energy and motivation during difficult moments. He thanked the supporters for standing behind the team and helping them push forward. Sektioui also praised Qatar for hosting the tournament, describing the organisation as excellent and the overall event as very special for players and fans.
Man of the Match Abdulrazak Hamdallah said the team fully deserved the title after performing well from the start of the tournament until the final. He added that the players worked hard in every match and stayed focused on their goal. According to Hamdallah, this victory reflects the positive progress and growth of football in Morocco, and the team hopes to continue this success in future competitions.
