Namibia and Zimbabwe to Meet in Final
The final will be played on Saturday, with both teams already securing qualification for the T20 World Cup next year in India and Sri Lanka. The final promises an exciting contest between two confident sides.
Namibia’s T20 World Cup Record
Namibia made a strong impression in their T20 World Cup debut in 2021 in UAE and Oman, defeating Netherlands, Ireland, and Scotland before exiting in the Super 12s. However, the team did not progress beyond the group stage in 2022 and 2024, making this year’s performance a sign of improvement.
Next year’s T20 World Cup will feature 20 nations and will be held from 7 February to 8 March in India and Sri Lanka. Namibia and Zimbabwe’s performance in this qualifier sets them up as competitive participants in the global tournament.
