Saudi Arabia’s National Museum is hosting a special cultural program to celebrate World Arabic Language Day 2025, which takes place every year on December 18. The three-day event will give visitors a chance to experience Saudi heritage, arts, and the beauty of the Arabic language in one place.
The program will include cultural and intellectual discussions that explore the human and cultural aspects of Arabic. One main session, titled “The Aesthetics of Language in Saudi Folk Songs,” will focus on how traditional folk songs reflect the role of language in preserving cultural heritage and linking crafts and tools to the living traditions of Saudi communities.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in book signing sessions with authors, providing a conversational and interactive experience to explore the art of Arabic in literary works. The program will end with a series of workshops, interactive activities, and artistic performances that showcase the richness and variety of traditional arts and crafts, giving attendees a deep insight into Saudi culture and arts.
This celebration highlights the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting Arabic language and culture while offering visitors an engaging and educational experience that blends knowledge, creativity, and the preservation of living heritage.
