The Arab League has strongly condemned Israel’s decision to convert lands in the occupied West Bank into “state property.”
In an official statement, the league said the move is a clear violation of international law and goes against legitimate international resolutions.
The Arab League stated that Israel’s decision is a unilateral and invalid step, aimed at creating conditions for the annexation of occupied Palestinian territories.
The league also warned that such policies could threaten the security and stability of the region. It urged the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to take action and stop Israel from implementing these measures.
The statement came after Israel’s cabinet approved additional steps to tighten its control over the occupied West Bank and make it easier for Israeli settlers to purchase land. Palestinians described the move as a “de-facto annexation,” according to reports.
