Poco is set to unveil its highly awaited F8 series globally on November 26 in Bali, Indonesia. While the company hasn't disclosed extensive details, industry insiders hint that the series will include the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra, expected to be global versions of Xiaomi’s recent Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max launched in China.
Design and Performance
Sources suggest that both F8 models will carry over the design and key specifications of their Chinese counterparts, with slight modifications such as battery tweaks. The Poco F8 Pro is speculated to operate on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, whereas the F8 Ultra might come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, ensuring performance that meets flagship standards for gaming and multitasking.
Display and Audio
The F8 Ultra is rumored to feature a sizable 6.9-inch OLED display, while the standard F8 is expected to have a 6.59-inch OLED screen. Both displays should support 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, in line with contemporary high-end Android devices. The audio experience is poised to improve, with the Ultra model likely including an additional rear speaker to elevate the multimedia experience.
Camera Features
Camera enhancements stand out for the F8 Ultra, which may come equipped with a triple-camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary lens alongside ultra-wide and periscope telephoto lenses. A 20-megapixel front-facing camera could be included to appeal to selfie and video call fans.
Charging and Connectivity
Both F8 models are anticipated to support 100W wired fast charging, with the F8 Ultra potentially offering 50W wireless charging. These updates aim to minimize downtime and enhance the overall user experience for power users.
India Launch and Pricing
Although Poco has announced the global launch, the release timeline for India remains unknown. Industry trends suggest a rollout a few weeks post-international launch, likely in early 2026. Pricing information is still under wraps, but the F8 series is expected to rival high-end Android flagships like the OnePlus 15, Oppo Find X9 series, and Vivo X300 lineup.
