OnePlus Turbo Phones to Arrive Early 2026 With Huge Battery

OnePlus Turbo Phones to Arrive Early 2026 With Huge Battery

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

OnePlus is preparing to launch a new Turbo series of smartphones, expected as early as January 2026. This series is designed for users who care most about performance and battery life. The Turbo phones will focus on delivering fast processing and long-lasting usage without constant charging.

Leaks suggest the first Turbo phone could feature an extremely large 9,000mAh battery, a first for the OnePlus and Oppo ecosystem. The battery may use a dual-cell design to improve charging speed and control heat while keeping performance high. Along with the battery, the phone is expected to have a powerful chipset and a high-refresh-rate OLED display, possibly around 6.78 inches and up to 165Hz, targeting gamers and heavy users.

There is still uncertainty about the processor. Some reports suggest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while others hint at MediaTek Dimensity 8500 for at least one model, internally called OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo. Regardless, OnePlus has confirmed the series officially, promising strong performance and the longest battery life in its segment.

The Turbo series may focus on gaming with better cooling, strong haptics, and accessories, though these details are not confirmed yet. Compared to the flagship OnePlus 15, Turbo phones could have the same high-end performance but with larger batteries, enhanced cooling, or tuning for endurance.

Pricing details are not yet available, but the series is expected to be in the premium range, similar to other high-end OnePlus phones. The first launch is likely in China in early 2026, with possible releases in India and other markets soon after. If the leaks are correct, the OnePlus Turbo series could become the most aggressive and performance-focused smartphones by the brand so far.
